San Diego Wedding Photographer Konstantinos Manolis offers San Diego Brides very useful information.

Who will be your wedding photographer? How will I know this photographer is the best fit for my wedding? These are just the first couple of questions from a longer series that will naturally arise during the decision-making process.

Here is a list of things you should consider when looking for a wedding photographer:

Personality:  One of the first and most important things to notice is photographer’s personality, his/her energy. He/she will be the one who is next to you throughout the entire day. The photographer’s personality must match with the couple’s personality, because both parties can really set the tone of the wedding.

Portfolio: “What you see is what you get”. The portfolio itself is extremely important. Ask your photographer to present their wedding albums or wedding photos from several individual weddings. Keep in mind, the feeling you will receive from those wedding albums is criteria for your own wedding.

Coverage: The number of hours that the photographer will be present at your wedding is very important. Usually a regular coverage is between 8-10 hours.

Number of wedding photographers in a wedding: Having two photographers shoot your wedding is ideal. Each photographer can focus on their respective groups and gain more footage by organizing ahead of time. Remember, it is a FULL day with many photographable opportunities – you want adequate coverage so you don’t miss important moments. It also gives them more time to execute different and, quite frankly, better, shots. And when shooting the couple’s portrait, having knowledgeable assistance with lighting and the set-up will increase the angle options, quality and creativity of those pictures.
